Hey, guys.
I know it's been a while since I rapped at ya, but it's been a busy week. On Thursday, the Mrs. and I drove to Chicago (me for a seminar, her to see a sibling). On Saturday, I attended my mother's wedding in Cheese Country (Wisconsin). Though I'm not religious, Sunday was a day of rest. On Monday, we went to a friend's graduation. Yesterday, I started writing about my Chicago trip and mowed the front yard. Today, the cat is resting on the chair next to me while Zoe is barking at various noises and critters that she sees. Here is a snippet from the wedding vid. In it, my mother and one of her twin girls laugh at a Mitt Romney joke (use your imagination):

You have to tell us the joke hombre.
To tell you the truth, I have no idea what they were chuckling about. I actually used a digital picture camera for the posted video. I only learned that it had video capability the day before and that was entirely by accident. We've had it for several years.
Mitt Romney has comedic talent? I just picture the light going out at the Improv after he's on stage for no more than five minutes. I also picture him sleeping in his suit at night, since he's one of an endless number of stiffs representing the no-personality Republicans.
My aunt said it's real easy to post photos on here. We took some at our recent getaway, although their boring and don't show Borat-type humor. Hey, at least you were able to get a video feed on here. I wouldn't know how to start with that, since I don't own a web cam and wouldn't have the slightest clue on how to use it.
I'm jealous you returned to one of my all-time favorite cities, Chicago. You can't beat their restaurants. The Cubs have let me down for too long now. Otherwise, I might faithfully take in a game at Wrigley Field which like Fenway, you get a great vantage point no matter where you sit. Was it just a drive-by in Chicago or did you have some cool experiences happen while there?
PJ, what I actually had in mind was someone telling a joke about Mitt Romney, not him doing standup. I cringed at your description of him at the mic. Well-done.
Yes, to post pics, all you need is to have them saved on your computer. I don't have a webcam, either; just a digital camera that I connect to the computer once I've videod something. Let me know if you need any assistance.
We didn't go to Chicago proper, but my wife was able to enjoy the food at a Chicago hot-dog place called Portillo's. For further details on what transpired during our trip, go here:
