Gary needs to be in a mental hospital

I've been watching Gary on Celebrity Rehab. He's an interesting character. He had brain surgery after a motorcycle wreck and is missing some of the frontal lobe area. So, it affects his filter and empathy, according to Dr. Drew.

I like him though and he really does seem to have good intentions and want to help others.

Rocket, he's much too funny to be committed.

Thanks for the explanation, Brian. The thing I like about Busey is you never know what he's gonna say which is why he was asked onto "Prayer Hour", a fake TV show. They were hoping he would see through the pastor's greed and make a scene. He did not disappoint.

given brian's/dr. drew's explanation for his behavior, i think this set-up was pretty mean. :(

Sarah, there's no doubt the show used guerilla tactics, but I still couldn't help chuckling at the results. I love Busey. He's a cool cat.

That man is so disturbing and hilarious. Like a train wreck, I can't turn my eyes away.

I would not drink any Kool aid that Gary handed to me...no way , no how.

Stop, stop, stop halfway through it. Sorry. I'm uncontrollably laughing in front of my computer screen right now. "I hope you're having a Jesus Day." The ambiance from the background music is more hysterical. Point Break was a great movie, you have to give him that.

Busey had a classic meltdown on a morning radio show I listen to each day. It was hilarious. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pull up a link or retrieve the audio from it.

As many problems as Gary has, he still cracks me up. He seems to have a good sense of humor too.

I recommend checking out Celebrity Rehab. Rodney King's demeanor and the way he carries himself is interesting too. The beating did some major psychological damage, but he doesn't hold any grudges and is even going to box one of the cops for charity. He just seems like a really nice guy.

The other guy that keeps me watching is Steven Adler. He was kicked out of GNR a long time ago for his drug abusing ways. The longest he's been sober since he was 13 was 3 days until this show. He had a stroke from it too.

Gary was also addicted to Cocaine for 15 years, although he was confused and thought he was on the show to help as a worker. He's growing now though and realizing that he's a patient too.

Penny, agree with you on all counts.

King, that's totally understandable.

PJ, too bad you couldn't find the link. Ah, well. When I first watched this video a couple days ago, it was my first laugh of the day. I really have to thank Busey for that.

You're right. "Point Break" is a great film and the background music on the video really helped sell it.

Brian, thanks for the heads-up on Celebrity Rehab. I'll be sure to check it out on VH1. Dr. Drew is highly skilled and hopefully will be able to get his patients on the right track (unlike this country was before Barack was elected).

I loved Gary as "Uncle Red" in the movie 'Silver Bullet' I think is the name. A really great flick and Gary was just too cool. Would enjoy rappin with him.
