You ain't gonna believe this...
I went into a goverment building recently and saw someone working on a typewriter. It's a sound I've not heard in at least 10 years. I felt like I was in the Consolidated offices from the 1980 movie, "9 to 5". There goes the space bar. Ah...there's a paragraph break...

I have to use a typewriter sometimes here too...older documents sometimes REQUIRE it. I know. Crazy.
It's a new job for me and when they told me I was like, "I dont' think I've used a typewriter since 1983."
Good thing I'm 30. I don't think kids younger than that have even SEEN one !!!!
Haha, that's funny. Though, last week on Gilmore Girls Lorelei (the mother) was using one of those things to write a letter...of course on Gilmore Girls it was suppose to be quirky, and that old lday your describing just seems sadly out of date.
There are also a few typewriters around my work as well, for documents...
The sound is very odd to hear these days...
