Change-Up

Last week, I was listening to a discussion about change (something in plentiful supply these days). The point was made that although most people look back on the major changes that have occurred in their lives (loss of a job, a breakup) as good things, many, when they're actually in the midst of a big change occurring, would prefer that it not be happening. They don't have faith that the change they're experiencing is, like so many of the others, for their greatest good.

But I also think that folks look back and say it was for the best to somehow absolve themselves of a poor action etc... Not alweays, but a lot of the time. The whole "I don't regret anything" b.s.

Sometimes its just the opposite, change can appear to be a good thing and later on you look back and realize it was a mistake.

But yes I agree, humans tend to fight change.

I sadly disagree with you on how much is at hand. My major concerns: deficit spending and war have not changed at all.

It will be more of the same until we simply cant do it anymore. Every president makes the last look like a fiscal conservative.

I really don't like changes unless I'm the one that takes the initiative to change things. Still, I do realize that changes can be a good thing regardless if they are made consciously or not.
