Time

I watched a 2004 movie called "Primer" on Showtime some time ago. It's about two twenty-something men who are working on a machine that manipulates gravity.

They come to realize that the machine can actually transport things through time. The movie deals with the dilemma the men face on how best to deal with such a contraption.

A very complex movie and, at times, hard to follow. I had to go on the internet after viewing it to get a better handle on what I had just seen. I found out later that the film had been made for a paltry $7,000. So much more ambitious and thought-provoking than most of the multimillion dollar junk that comes out of Hollywood these days.

If I could time travel, one of the first things I would do is try to find a way to make it so that large dogs (like Saint Bernards) could have longer life spans.

This was an amazing movie. One of my favorite time-travel flicks. Smart, interesting, complicated, and well made. This is what big budget movies should be like... but instead aren't.

I'll have to add this one to the list.
If I could go back in time, I guess off the top of my head I may go back to the late 60's early 70's, I mean with all of the drugs and disease free sex, you can't go wrong.

Have you ever watched Donnie Darko? I had to go online after watching that to try to understand it better...and the website is an even bigger mindf*ck! Good movie though, once you can get your head around it.

Rick, totally agree.

Rock, time "tripping" to the late 60's would, indeed, be quite pleasurable. You wouldn't even have to worry about getting AIDS since it hadn't been invented yet!

Sil, I've not seen Darko yet, but noticed last week that it was on Showtime on Demand, so I'm gonna try to view it sometime in the next couple weeks. I'll let you know.
